The book is basically an updated version of a romance novel and women like to fantasize when reading romance novels. It's not you.

Plus, when women read about activities that they either don't have any experience with, or it's out of the norm for them, they often have desires that they cannot possibly hope to fulfill and often don't even fully comprehend why it makes them tingle down below.

So please don't spend anymore time thinking that you cannot compare to the character of Christian Grey.

Would you like to know what I thought of the character? (It was my sworn duty as a bonified escort, and wanna be writer, to read that tripe of a trilogy when it came out!)

His character is an absolute dick. And within the context of the novels he fully admits to it. It's another one of those "sassy virgin changes difficult male and makes him whole" type of bullshit that just has no basis in reality.

Grey deserves to be bitch-slapped into the Mississippi and his expensive toys with him.

Give me a regular guy who sweats a little too much, has a shy smile and wants to kiss me graciously while holding my hand and I'm happy. Or someone who has to save his pennies for awhile before seeing me and considers a visit to be somewhat of an event, and I'm VERY flattered.

For the love of all that is HOLY, do not let novels dictate how you feel about your own sexuality or your ability to please a female.

Not that I'm actually speaking to you directly but anyone out there.

To you and the others out there, my heart goes out to you. And believe it or not, there are those of us here (the females, I mean!) that have similar feelings and personal misgivings about our own abilities to please.

I certainly feel that way at times.

It's a part of the whole.
