This storm will turn out to be more a media event than weather catastrophe.

Thanks for your concern....I think.

The reason these things cause a lot of problems up here in places like new york is that we are not well equipped to take on lots of water, and the wind takes out trees and power quickly.

So with sandy you have a situation where we have lots of flooding combined with downed trees and debris and power outages. It takes a place like new york DAYS to recover from this. Days to restore power, clear debris and fallen trees and to deal with all the damage that the flooding has caused.

In midtown, a crane has partially collapsed and is now dangling over the city. If it falls into the middle of manhattan from a high rise building, the damage it could cause is almost immeasurable.

They had to shut down all the trains, busses and bridges here so we are trapped in our homes until this things passes and everything can be restored safely.

My lights are starting to flicker as I type this.

But I got water, canned goods, candles, matches, flashlight, radio etc for when the lights go, which is probably inevitable.

AND YOUR'RE A USED ASSHOLE!

Keep it cynical, boys. Not everybody has been through the kind of hurricanes we down here have. But as long as you're there to offer PRAYERS, Jesus will deliver Romney in spite of the inclement weather.

Unfuckingreal...

Does this mean we will get to see another bunch of idiot news reporters in their brand new rain gear standing out in the storm telling us the wind is blowing and it is raining....back to you Pat.

The Pennsylvania Highway Patrol has just announced that they are expecting NO fatalities on the roads during the storm.

My advice is to get drunk, drive fast and take alot of chances.
