Default J Cups???

A friend told me today that her granddaughter had surgery today to reduce her J cups to C cups.

Didn't even know there was a J. Said she was really hurting after the surgery.

Cup size really depends on manufacturer. I just went bra shopping. I got 3 sets. One was 38FF, another 36G and third 36H. It is confusing as hell even for us ladies

These days I just walk into Saks or Blooms and ask for "certified fit specialist" .. gave up just browsing through the racks

I agree totally, being anywhere from a 36D-F depending on where I shop. It's all about the fit. But if she's bigger than Lina, that's got to be huge. More like J for Jugs!

If this page is to be believed (because, y'know, the Internet is so trustworthy):

http://www.manofest.com/Content/the-...the-world.html

they rate 'em all the way up to ZZZ.

NOTE: if you choose to click on that link, mute your sound first; there's an annoying video ad with sound there. Also it opens some popunder ads that are even more annoying.

OTOH, there are videos of the various ladies and their massive mammaries that may/may not be worth seeing (I haven't looked at the videos. Yet).

Cheers,

bcg

Sure a J cup is possible. I personally have some F-cup bras. When I went bra shopping in London, some of my bras were E cup and some F.

They told me E is equivalent to a DD and F is a DDD.

It's just a more logical sizing system.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, smaller than A cups are called AA or even AAA. Why didn't they just BEGIN the sizing with a totally flat chest being called A and build up from there?

As someone mentioned upthread, a lot depends on the manufacturer. One bramaker's DD is another's E (and so on).

From what I've heard, probably by the time a lady gets up past DD she probably should just stop buying bras off the rack and have them custom fitted.

The inventor of the system just wasn't thinking? ("Just wasn't thinking" seems to explain a lot of human history, IMHO.)

This may be a problem of mere historical interest, though. I've heard that ladies smaller than A cup (and a fair number of ladies who'd wear As) pretty much just stopped wearing bras, period. (The last lady--a civilian--I dated who was an A cup told me that she never wore bras anymore, and only resorted to something similar to pasties in situations where her nipples poking through her top might cause embarrassment.)

Cheers,

bcg

Breast reduction has got to be painful. From what I have been told by a reduction patient years ago, it is a multi faceted surgery. Multiple incissions, nipple relocation, etc. But she did say the discomfort was worth it and no more back pain. a lot of it probably depends on the surgeon and the techniques used.

In the now closed Sloan Mischief thread I won't even link, she took exception to a poster missing her cup size. She is tall and the number part of the bra's size has to do with the rib cage circumference. However, it seems manufacturers tend to enlarge the cup's size without a letter change as the inches go up.

Examples of that have been noted by the two well-endowed ladies above.

Some bras will fit and feel the same from 36 D to 37 C and it is doubtful that anatomy would make a 32 A cup hold the breast as well as a 36 A even if the girth were taken up by a tailor.

One more factor The Peach mentioned was water retention during monthly cycles. She said that sometimes her bras were tighter than other times. That's when I said, "Well, maybe we should get that bra off and have a look." I am an incurable titty baby.

I won't say J (or larger) Cups are "common" as a %of the population but they certainly aren't unusual; we see them everyday walking down the street or at the grocery store. Usually these are on women where the rest of them is much bigger, too!

I wonder what cup size Beth Chapman (Dog the bounty hunter's wife) is. Damn, I wish that woman would do Playboy, I wanna see em soooo bad! I bet Hef would make it worth her while.

My mom was a g cup and she was miserable. Her bra straps would dig so hard into her shoulder it would leave deep marks and her back always hurt. She was too afraid of the surgery though so just lived with it.
