This would be best asked in Co-Ed.
If you are working, then it's been suggested to find somewhere outside the Quarter/CBD. Metairie or Kenner are your best bet for locals. Parking is too much of a hassle in the FQ/CBD for Mardi Gras, and many of the nicer hotels in the area may hassle people that aren't staying there when they try to enter for an incall.
That being said, when are you coming back to BR? I'd love to see you again.

Eholiday is right. Better placed in the CO-ED forum. Moving it there.

If you haven't booked a hotel in advance, its unlikely you will find one. And prices are greatly inflated this time of year. But if you can enjoy the festivities, GO FOR IT! Mardi Gras is great fun!

There is no safe place in New Orleans during Mardi Gras! Good luck and have fun!
