as a general rule for killeen. its better to stay on Hwy 190 as opposed to Bus 190

Definitely NOT the same. Pick a hotel off 190, probably closer to Harker Heights. The closer you get to main post, the seedier it gets.

Ive always stayed in killeen
... never had any complaints nor suggestions to stay elsewhere

In general, no hotels on business 190.

Hotels on US 190 between Jasper and Stan Schlueter are good, with a few notable exceptions.
