Let's Pass the Hat for DD to have a "Date"
Poor DD has been a little uptight lately and could use a little fun!
He assumes that all of us are computer experts, that all of us deal with this system 22 hours a day, that ECCIE never stalls of drops something you've spent 20 minutes doing without an ability to save.
He assumes we are all typing on big new desktops instead of huddled away from people typing with one finger on a phone, tablet or a laptop older than some of of our favorite providers.
I hope he takes a breath, gets a "date" and remembers that we are here for entertainment, count me in for a DDDD. (DD Donation Date!)

I kind of pointed out the same thing in a different thread...
Not for nuthin.... but I was gonna add the following in that thread, but will instead point it out here:
DD -- you work too hard.
I DO know that you are the only mod that is CONSISTENTLY visible to most of us.
Perhaps the other mods are taking care of behind the scenes stuff.... but I don't see them as involved as yourself.
Not sure how off base I might be... but do yourself a favor and take a night off.
See if someone else will pick up the slack.

The other MODS are the real work horses! They do all of the heavy lifting and I just pop up from time to time!

Like I said. I'm sure there is behind the scenes stuff that is getting attention....
But also like I said... when it comes to visible mod duties.... we rarely see anyone but you taking care of business.

Heavy lifting? It's a forum, there are no secret passageways, trap doors, or heavy lifting.......it's just a bunch of guys and gals trying to keep other guys and gals from breaking some rules which are only really important in order to keep the hounds from breaking up the conglomerate.

Moderating = babysitting egos, I would hate to babysit me, it would be hard. Hats off to DD he's the one that suffers through dealing with me most. He gets a lot of "hey...um...so...like....i n my ad I forgot to put (fill in the blank) can you please?", "so is this pic allowed because I saw one like it (insert link) and I want to make one like it my avatar","why not?","can you change the dates/times in my ad I posted an hour and 15 mins ago?","what are you wearing?", and so on all the time *blushing*
