Gates?! pshaw! KC BBQ is best at Oklahoma Joe's or BBs Lawnside BBQ (ill take you sometime if you want Destiny). Other cool places include genuine Mexican places on Independence Ave (cheap) or Southwest (nicer).
Waldo Pizza is good. The Waldo neighborhood also has a good Indian and Greek place too. Korma Sutra has awesome Indian food as well. Chinese buffet? Go to Fusion in Westport. Hope that helps.

Mr is right, BBs is pretty right on... My favorite is Zarda tho, their bold-n-spicy sauce is SO damn good!
If you want high end BBQ go to Jackstack...
Oklahoma Joes is the shit....plan ahead because you'll be waiting in line lol

No i have not been to BB's I will definately have to put that on my list. I have been to oklahoma joes however. The bbq was good but everyone said I would love the fries but I must have got a batch with way too much of the flavoring on it because they were almost unbearable. I told the person that I went with what happened with the fries and they said sometimes that happens there but most of the time they are just right. I may have to give them another chance..
I do want to try zarda though! They were outside pricechopper the other day cooking and it smelled delicious!
