OK Cypress or Katy?
As many of you know I have been house hunting am needing to move to the Houston area but don't want to be in Houston City Limits for various reasons.
I have narrowed it down to these two areas.
Someone in CC said that Katy was real NAUTSI??? I asked what that meant and he said big on LE... Is that true? I always do very well when I visit and have had no trouble but its only been a few times.
It does not look like that their are too many providers in either one of those areas. Is there a reason for that?
ANY One have more to expand on the topic PLEASE I want everyones 2 cents.. Im actually buying not renting........
My girlfriend lives near Willowbrook mall and my children live in League City.
So those to City's are close and far enough..If you get my drift...want it to be close enough in case of an emergency I can swoop over but far enough not to be dropping in 2 times a day

Both areas are very large geographically so you will have all kinds of areas. Take katy. South of I-10, lots of neighborhoods afford their own police protection over the basic. Some north of I-10 are a bit rough with all kinds of activity LE probably isn't fond of. So in some areas you wouldn't make it a month without a knock at the door. Some areas no one would notice.

If you keep a low profile it won't matter which area you land in. However I am a massage nut and I am in the cypress area...hint, hint.

I've lived in Katy for 6 years now (southI10) and never had any weird or crazy things happen. I love Katy but that's my opinion.

I've lived in Cypress since 1999. I have lived in Houston since 1967......West, SW, Clear Lake, Tomball, and a few others............Cypress is the BEST!

Well wanting to be close, but not too close Katy is your best bet. That way no one can stop by with the excuse "they were just in the area."
