San Antonio Year in Review (a Nebraska POV)

First and foremost, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you! I have met so truly wonderful ladies and great gents, many of whom I glad to call friends! You have a wonderful community and I've thoroughly enjoyed each and every visit to your fair city. I've laughed, I've cried and all the while had so much fun!!

I wanted to say thanks to a couple of folks...

Pdid - you've been a great mentor and friend... And the first to join me for a drink outside the hobby! Your recommendations have always been spot on!

Sonya Playmate - thanks for being my first adventure and opening so many doors for me. I regret that our schedules have yet to align but rest assured, I look forward to trying and trying again next year!

Due to one of our (sonya) schedule misfires, I had the extreme pleasure of meeting the lovely, vibrant and witty Slave Guinevere... Again and again and again! You are the epitome of great provider and we could all stand to learn something from her, provider and hobbyists alike!

Dezirie - thanks for showing me exactly how many people will view a great review of a lovely gal - and dinner of course!

To the rest of the gents and ladies I've met, thanks so much for making me feel at home... Except without my SO!!

I've met some recent new friends that I'm looking forward to seeing again and old friends who will find it hard to get rid of me

Mokoa/JJ - you do fine work in a thankless, payless job and I want to say thanks for all that you do.

Ck - you throw one helluva party and I look forward to many more!!

And to those who I've tried to see but hasn't worked out, I haven't forgotten!!

Good to meet you on several occasions already.

Seems like you appreciate our blow out events... therefore, I expect to see you at least at our upcoming

Procrastinators' New Year's Gala, Casino Night, Mardi GraciASS, April Fooling Around Day, Stinko de Mayo, and who knows what else we might cook up as 2014 moves along?

Medical Day, a picnic or two, Night at the Movies, Hawaii State Hood, Aqua Night, Pub Crawl, Hollow Weenie, XXXmas, etc. etc.

As proven at today's luncheon, those who manage to visit event for as little as 30-45 minutes can find fun and frolic. And future "friends."

Just to reiterate, although a lunch event may run for a couple hours, or a happy hour event way longer, "drop-in" guests are very welcome even for a short while.
