I used to get like that, when I had to deal with a lot of upset people. I would be nice to them but they had issues before I even talked to them. Sometimes, their spouse would have them all upset before they got here. Then when they got here, they want to take it out on someone, any one.

I got so fed up with it that I would send out a team member to talk to the irate customer, then I would send in an assistant manager, then I would send in a manager, and then I would send in a general manager, and if an area manager was with me, I would send him in next. I would waste so much of their time, hopefully the time needed to cool them down. By the time, they got to me, they would be wore out, and then I would call the cops, and tell them to get out of my business before the cops got there. The customer isn't always right. Piss off my workers, and you piss me off. I love the people that work for me, and I don't love some customer that I have never seen or don't know. Say one f word to someone that works for me, and you are gone. Say one f word to me, and the cops are on their way. Want to deny that you weren't a threat to me, tell that to the 16-cameras that record your every move. Flailing hands, bobbing head, standing too close to me, all threats, bye, don't ever come back. I don't need their business, and their attitude.

Yup, I hate people. I hate as*holes. Now, it seems like I am becoming what I hate. They make me like that. Time to kill, I mean defend myself. Oops, let the cops do that. Who do you think the cops are going to back up, me (the business owner that brings millions of dollars of business to their town) or some nut job that is screaming their heads off. See ya, assh*ole. I don't need you. Give some other companies your business and your drama.
