Love and the hobby
I’m an older guy. I’ve been in the hobby for 20+ years. I know it’s pay for play, and I’ve had no illusions that it is anything more. That’s served me well…until I met Pammy.
She was just different, or things were different with her, than anyone else I had seen. Things were authentic, and I found myself struggling to keep my emotions in check. After many months, I came clean and told her. It didn’t scare her at all. With some guidance and boundaries, we grew close, as friends and lovers. While I’m not “in love” with her, I do love and care for her.
We say “I love you” to one another, knowing it isn’t meaning taking things further.
I’m sure it’s happened to others out there, and I wonder how you handled it. Did you walk away? Did you tell them? Was it just one-sided? I know we don’t, and should not, expect that here, or look for it here. But is does happen from time to time.
