Air Force denies early retirement for discharged transgender veterans.
These people served and were forced out by a change of government.
Shouldn’t they be given the same benefits as other members who have served honorably?
It’s not their fault that the government policy changed.

Air Force Denies Early Retirement for Transgender Men and Women
The service issued a memo on Wednesday that will force at least a dozen transgender servicemen and women to lose lifetime benefits.
At least a dozen transgender men and women serving in the U.S. Air Force who had applied for early retirement to avoid being kicked out of the service for their gender identity have had their retirement approval rescinded by the service.
The airmen, all of whom have served 15 to 18 years, must now choose between a voluntary separation agreement or involuntary removal with few, if any, benefits. Either course of action will result in a substantial loss of financial, medical and other benefits worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to each of them.

^^^ Soooo, you pay to get fucked in the ass by those crazy dudes but don't think they deserve the benefits that they earned while serving their country? You closeted gay folks are funny. https://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=2353278
Anyway, I am no lawyer so I am not aware of how they can handle this in the courts fairly until after 2028. Considering how Trump controls the highest court, not really sure what recourse they realistically have now.

Mentally ill or not (they’re not) these people did nothing wrong and did nothing illegal. Does the Trump administration really have the justification to strip these people of their benefits just because they disagree with them on being transgender. You can strip a criminal of their rights but none of these people have been convicted of a crime that I know of.

20 years service is required for military retirement benefits, regardless of your demographic. I doubt that any transgenders have 20 years service. But if they do, I'm for giving it to them. All Government benefits should be applied equally. They will still have the same veterans benefits as everyone else. Honestly though, it's hard for me to sympathize with fake men and fake women, which is what they actually are. Let's be honest. It trans women are real women, why don't straight men wanna fuck em? If trans men are real men, why don't straight women wanna fuck em?

Before we get too far down the rabbit hole here I should acknowledge that HoHound is right about their military benefits.
They are being denied early retirement or a medical retirement which is at the behest of the policy makers. They presumably would still get full retirement if they served out their 20.

My brother spent 14 years in the service before cutbacks forced him out. No retirement, no disability, A spotless record and an honorable discharge. You can tell the mentally ill that, unlike my brother, they were released for cause.

These people weren’t forced into leaving because of budget cuts. These people are being targeted simply because of politics, stripped of their jobs and careers, and forced into a new life they didn’t ask for.
Could you imagine a private company like Chase Manhattan or Target firing all of their transgender employees out of the blue because the CEO changed and that individual didn’t like Transgender people?
I guarantee HR would have a meltdown and lawsuits would follow. But because the government does it somehow that’s OK?

You're making assumptions...they don't like transgenders? Transgender are demonstrated unreliable. They have mental and emotional issues. Security clearances? You've got to be kidding. You have too much TDS and can't think rationally.

You don’t think the fact that he just removed all trans members from the military isn’t proof of their discrimination and dislike of trans people.
I can tell from your own statement that you don’t like trans people either.

Do you know there is a height requirement to be a military pilot? Suppose some dumbass of a president let his Secretary of Defense let a bunch of tall people with a waiver. They start having problems with cockpits having to be adjusted at great cost, readiness goes down as tall pilots have trouble completing long flights, etc. A new president shows up and to fix it reinstalls the previous requirements. Now, someone like you comes along and says the president must really hate tall people... Sounds foolish doesn't it. Of course we make a case for fat people, handicapped people, and, yes, trans people. Lets limit the stupidity, shall we?

A Military Retirement requires 20 years of active duty service. These Airman left on their own accord with less than 20 years so there is no provisions that are set to grant them anything. Besides that they were deceiving the Military, they should have planned ahead.

Yup. I'm old enough to recall when the government forced out honorably serving soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines because they wouldn't get a worthless experimental injection.
I don't recall you complaining then.
