Do go give up hobby when on antidepressant?

Bruce, go see a doctor and get his or her advice. Some of the recommendations in this thread may be good, but some of it can be dangerous if you aren’t getting advice from the health professional that knows you best.

If your condition was due to age, I would say don’t feel obligated to keep up the pace of your younger self (I don’t, and I’m happy with that). Your situation sounds much different and I would not pretend to be able to give good advice for someone in your shoes.

Not medical advice, OK! If you have an enlarged prostate and possibly BPH, AND your PSA score is abnormal, do not take TRT at all. Adding TRT is like throwing gas on a fire .However. Adding Viagra, Cialis, etc. is fine. just no TRT or HRT while prostate is enlarged and PSA to is off high-range levels. BTW, I have been seeing the same urologist for 20+ years at Baylor Dallas.

Or at least know what options are least likely to interfere with his medication. I have learned from family and friends there is a bit of trial and error when prescribing those drugs. If they are working as intended he wants to be careful introducing something new into his system.

Get a full blood work up done. Our health care system is a 1 lane road and is designed to prescribe drugs. Find out where you’re deficient and correct that.

Also, have your MD do a DRE (digital rectal exam) on your prostate AND follow up with a PSA blood test. And if you are 45+, you are due for a colonoscopy as well. I know, screw me, but I want you to be here for many more Christmases to come.

i have found that guys can Never come if on anti-depressants.
in my opinion anti-dep are the greatest HOAX perpetuated by big pharm
if you google "bad side effects"of the specific name of your anti-dep
you will see all they do is fuck you up Big time both physically and mentally-- get off the damn anti-dep-------instead get more SEX which is the best NATURAL anti -dep there is !! lol
