I've been kinda wondering if I'm a rarity. When it comes to hobbying, i'm not really interested in the extreme "porn star experience". I am more looking for a laid back, friendly, sensual interaction.

It's actually kinda weird, because i'm more kinky in a real relationship than i am with a provider.

Am I in the minority here? I assume most hobbyists are looking for that high energy bangfest, but I kinda like the simplicity angle.

Question is very much open to providers too. Which type do you prefer?

I think you'll find the lovelies here to be very open about fantasies and kinks.. Some, more than others, but from what you describe, you shouldn't have any problems finding a fun playmate.
Sure, there are a few real Porn Star types, but most I find to be ladies, just making a living. With that exception, they are just like RW ladies.. I am the same way I don’t want to project on you, but this is what I think (at least for me) With a woman in the real world when I get into that phase, it is FUN!!!! I don't think you are any more weird than the rest of us ... but that wasn't your question, was it?

Initially the OP was asking if what he is looking for is weird or if he is in a minority "looking for a laid back, friendly, sensual interaction."
Then Garfield entered the scene.

Here is my take:

When you want to be pampered you could always go for a nice FBSM with a happy ending.

Want more action, but still want to be pampered? Ah, now it gets a bit more tricky, at least it did for me at some early point in the hobby experience (you can look it up in ML). I was a bit "struggling" on that exact same point.

Found that PSE style can actually be more serving in that regard ....
Or look for providers who are more dominant (when they tie you down there is little you can do, lol).

If you read reviews you'll get a sense of what the well reviewed providers are more into and what they do best. Some will completely make it all about you, some will get into it more when you give back (or get them going).
Reviews will tell you a lot, but they are not foolproof either.

Good communication also helps (to set expectations). Doesn't always work, but at least you have a better chance to experience what you are looking for when asking for it.

Communication is always key. I enjoy making people have exactly the experience that are seeking. However, my default is alway laid back, genuine and sensual... I get pleasure from that.
