I posted a search for a provider in the Houston forum about 6 months ago and only found 1 hit which turned out to be a flake.

I am looking for a bow-legged provider. Now, before I get all of the jokes I'm really being serious about this. For some reason I've always had a thing for bow-legged women. I know I may have to travel, just wanted to get some info if anybody knows of one.

Well, I know there's more. I found two on BP here in Houston. One of them hangs with a crew of girls with bad reps and the other was all about money. I asked her if we could meet for lunch so I could first of all, see if she was really bow-legged and then to see if we would even click.

I offered to pay for lunch but she also wanted me to pay her for her time in eating with me. Ummm, don't think so. If we meet, we like each other, then by all means I'll not only pay for lunch, but pay for activities and even give you a little extra if it's a good session. So, needless to say she refused to meet with me because I wouldn't pay her for her time during lunch.

I can understand your wanting to see if you click but the majority will want their time paid for bowlegged or not, & since thats an unusal request you may have to spring for it, you could always request a picture & if you approve then talk on the phone to see if you click.

Well, my whole point in wanting to meet her was that she wasn't verified. She was a BP provider that had no reviews whatsoever and no one to vouch for her services. If I had something to go on I wouldn't have had to meet with her.

If we met and didn't click, then she wouldn't have lost anything and all I would have lost was paying for lunch and we both go our seperate ways. If we did click, she still would've gotten a free lunch and possibly a regular client. So, to me, the positives in that meeting outweighed the negatives which were minimal. It would have just cost her a little bit in gas to drive to the restaurant.

I understand, still thats a toughie request, i only saw one on BP & it was from back in October their was a picture though, i googled bowlegged women texas. Pickin's were slim

Hate to break it to you, but there are a lot of providers who are going to react the same way. Let me see if I can help you understand why it's more costly for her to go to lunch for free than you think it is.

Get ready time (takes me about 2 hours). Shower, hair, makeup, outfit.
Drive time (let's say it's 20 mins round trip).
Eat and talk time (let's say an hour).

So that's 3 hours and twenty minutes she has spent working for a $20 plate of food, and a possible appointment that she is a fool if she actually expects will happen. And don't say "Well, she doesn't even have to get ready for me" because yes she does. I would never be seen by a client (or in public) without looking my best. No matter what he says.

That kind of investment with that little return just doesn't sound like a good business move to me. It's not that she's ungrateful for the offer of food, it just isn't worth that much time, you know? We don't have to "audition" for most of our clients, so you have to understand that while you are a special case to you, you are not to her. We'd never get any work done if we were just constantly auditioning with clients.

Offer her some decent compensation for her time if you absolutely MUST have a meet and greet. If it's not worth it to you, then perhaps you really don't want it that bad. And if all you're worried about is whether or not she is actually bow-legged and you click, then why not go ahead and schedule a session? If she isn't what you expected when you open the door, just say so. Perhaps give her a little something for her time and effort getting ready for you.

I always notice the bowlegged woman usually have very big asses and seem to be thicker most times. That's maybe where you bgotta look.

If she comes for a lunch date.....can she get a dinner date tray to go. They say you pay them for their time and compainionship mostly.....the dinner tray will save them time when they get home with preparation band such......

I'm sorry, but I'm definitely going to have to agree with Traci. It is considered really bad manners in the hobby community to ask a provider to meet for free no matter what the activities.

It would also be a poor business decision for the reasons Traci suggested. Why would she want to meet with you for free in case you became a regular when she is likely to have men lining up at her door without that extra time and effort? You may feel somewhat entitled due to the fact that you consider yourself a gentleman, but what you asked for seems like a show of disrespect. The implications are insulting.

Furthermore, you are the one who is looking for a very special kind of experience. Sometimes cliched lines do the trick, and this is one of those times: Beggars can't be choosers. I don't think people are going to be willing to help you when you had a pretty good opportunity to help yourself.

I mean that he is asking for help in finding something at which he already turned his nose up. He must not want it badly enough to pay a provider her social rate for an hour or two, so people may not be willing to go out of their way to help him.

Sometimes.....sometimes we forget what all goes into you ladies seeing a client. ICM has been around for a while and has a good reputation with the ladies and hobbyists. I don't think he meant any disrespect by his actions.

I fully understand what you ladies take in to consideration when deciding what to charge and what not. If you own a business then you have to consider your overhead and time involved with the whole process and whether or not a potential client is worth the effort to gain.

ICM- maybe if you encounter a chance to meet a potential lady for lunch so you can both see if it is worth both of your's time to pursue a business relationship, you could send her your references so she can ask the other ladies if it may be worth her time to pursue you as a client. In all honesty she doesn't know you from anyone else. While this is a unique business it is still a business

Very nicely said, Eccie Addict! I'm sure that ICM didn't mean any disrespect to her, but that certainly won't stop me from having my opinions about his actions. I think you're right that sometimes gents forget what goes into the preparation for us to see a client, just as some ladies forget what you guys go through in meeting with us.
