For those of you who may want to visit a certain Irish redheaded wench, please stay away from strawberries for a couple of days prior. I'm highly allergic, and I've had to go to the ER for, um, "secondhand" enjoyment of the strawberry smoothies a fellow had for breakfast every day of the week, and for the strawberry shake a gent slurped at lunch before having a helping of me for dessert.

(Must keep more EpiPens on hand, but jeez, I hate stabbing myself with those.)

Got to the point where I had to list it prominently on my ECCIE and P411 profiles and on the rates section of my website. I am the only lady I know who has an allergy problem to this extent. Starts with big red blotches on my skin, progresses to itching, nausea, and difficulty breathing depending on the degree of exposure.

Any other ladies or gents here allergic to anything that badly? I know peanuts and shellfish are red flag foods for some, but after they are, um, "processed" by the body, can they elicit a reaction?

Love raspberries, however, with cream. I have a recipe that willing gentlemen can help me with, evil laugh.
