In light of all the negative topics going on lately, I decided to make a more positive thread.

What do you guys and gals like to do for fun on your free time? I'm decently new to the Little Rock area and wanted to know where the fun is.

As an avid movie watcher, I recently saw The Equalizer. Amazing movie and made me think if providers really go through those experiences....

Also, I was planning on going to the State Fair this weekend with some friends. Never been to one and hopefully it's fun despite the gloomy weather.

Easy question to answer. I love exploring the back roads of Arkansas on my motorcycle. I call it "wind therapy". lol And when my schedule allows, of course, I spend leisurely/ intense hours with one of you lovely ladies. What could be better?

I rebuild old cars as my 2nd hobby. I also like to watch a good movie.

I love to cook. It's a therapeutic art.

Chess, whenever I have a partner to play with.

I'm a huge movie buff! Just bought the big Samsung Curve. Makes Redbox and Netflix nights so much better!

Traveling... I love seeing and experiencing new places.

Love animals. Any of my friends that have been to my place can tell you that I have quite a few.

Dressing up...especially for Halloween. SnprEli has already gotten a sneak peek at my outfit for this year, lol.

With all the hardships of everyday life, I just thought it would be nice to talk about the good things once in a while.

I'm also really big on movies and just saw Hercules, Her, and The Fault in our Stars. There's just something about movies which takes you to another place..

Chess is also fun, mentally stimulating. Haven't played in a while but I might get back into it.

I ended up not going to the State fair but there is always next week. The weather was just too bad but hopefully it'll get better. I just decided to drive around and sight see what Arkansas has to offer. I just might get a motorcycle as that "wind therapy" sounds awesome....

Having a cocktail in my hot tub is also pretty amazing. Although, that may eventually necessitate therapy. LOL

Golf, food and adventure travel for me. I love disappearing alone into the woods for 3-4 days at a time when it is NOT hunting season. (Not anti hunting- just like the solitude and quiet of the deep woods) I have visited 49 states and 39 Countries, many of them developing economies. I LOVE getting off a train, plane, boat, whatever and knowing that I am really somewhere different. Some of my faves: Uganda, Cote d'Ivoire, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Haiti, Thailand and Trinidad.

I worked my way through college as a photographer, and owned a boudoir studio in the 1990s. I don't shoot professionally anymore, but with the stress in my life, once in a while I get the old cameras out and try to rediscover my artistic side. Maybe I need to do it more often.

I Enjoy laughing and swimming and reading a good book. I also do enjoy making other ppl laugh. Idk if tht qualifies as a hobbie but it's things I enjoy

shopping....more of an addiction than a hobby, but i love it! also cooking & playing with my puppy! :-)
