"WTH Springfield" - the other side of the coin

This is built off of the wonderful tread Dallas started yesterday " WTH Springfield ". Springfield has been difficult for many providers as Dallas stated. The other side is it is difficult for the customer too. Because Springfield is not a high volume town we can't get traveling providers to keep scheduled appointments. In the last two months I have had three appointments canceled at the last minute by the providers due to lack of bookings by Springfield gentlemen. All of these were the provider arriving Sundays and to be here two days. Unable to play on the weekend My appointments were their second day. Without the support of other Springfield hobbyist it makes no economic sense for the provider to stay and hope for more. They end up traveling thru to Saint Louis or Kansas City .
Other occasions I have tried to schedule with the local providers to find out she is not going to be here. Our local ladies have to travel to other cities to make ends meet. Again St. Louis and Kansas City get our best, limiting Springfield's available time.
Screening is great for all and I think is very necessary for the customer. It keeps him safe from a multiple of things. Our local " best " rates are right inline with our economy and high end providers. Take and place Dallas or Katie in a large city and they could get much more . Customers lack of support here is limiting our choices and chances.

VERY well said....us providers cannot "make" guys book with us...all we can do is make ourselves as "enticing" as we can to garner business.I understand guy's sparodic schedules,so I understand why alot cannot book in advance.
Like was said..Most traveling providers[including me}will only make the tour if there is at least sufficent advanced bookings,due to high cost of "nice & safe" hotels/gas/and other travel expenses.....It costs ALOT to tour a city and because my rates "are so much lower than most...especially for what I offer,I have to at least break even!

Right now I live near Willard and have family in my household...but my daughter is getting married soon and will be moving out in May...SO I will be going "back on the road fulltime" for a few monthes,till I find a local incall in Springfield...I will still be traveling alot,but will make myself more available for those "spur of the moment" clients.
