Dislike buttons will only add to the animosity on this board, and even create new cause for animosity.

Member x starting an attack on member y because he/she believes member y has been voting against him/her.

What more, these pro/con functions can all too easily be abused, by people who register multiple handles.

Indeed, yes/no votes are especially destructive on a board such as Eccie-Houston, as the clique of school-yard harrassers and lynchers and flamers who have made Co-ed and the Soap-box undesirable to the rest of us, could use those functions to further harass other participants.
