When I got my first smartphone, I downloaded some apps. Couple games and direction apps. The only one I use is called Scout(directions). Got rid of the games,since it there were always updates downloading and running the battery down. Kind of miss the old days when I had a flip phone that would go for a week on one charge.

Dripler is a good source for App info. Detects if you have Android or iOS. It's an app that behaves like a news app.
