How dare they get free adverting off my showcase.

Don't you get free advertising on this site? If they charge you for a showcase then yeah they shouldn't do that to you.

First, with the typo (red) your post makes little sense. But after looking I do see the AS listing. I've never noticed this in any Houston showcases, is this a Dallas thing? How did it get there in the first place? Do other ladies have this as well?
Second, yes this is YOUR showcase, but its a free showcase on the Eccie.net. Technically it is their property not yours. That is how they dare. (blue) Perhaps AS pays the bills to keep your free showcase online for us guys to see and therefore make your phone ring so you can pay your bills. You should know how the world works... There really is No Free Lunch. Sorry.

try "questions for the staff" at the top of the Dallas page. Might get quicker response than emails.

When you have specifically asked them to not use tour pica name info. And they blantly ignore the fact they you haven't given permission to use your info. Bullshit

Not beside the point at all.
If they are a paid advertiser and want to link their ad on your free showcase they have every right to do so. I'm sure that IF that's the case, there is some kind of provider page telling you they have that right. Read the page before you created your showcase. If you don't like it you can always take it down and start over. All this is hypothetical, I don't really care enough to research it.
Questions for the Staff, they would have better answers.

It was my understanding that ECCIE has joined with Adult Search or something, but it was my understanding that it was up to you to join the Adult Search site, did you at any point join the other site? That just seems weird that they would throw a link into your showcase like that.

I know when I went to AdultSearch.com and started my free post that was being offered. I had a new link on my showcase here on Eccie that would take you to my profile on AdultSearch, because yes...Eccie has partnered up with AdultSearch.com

If you don't post on AdultSearch.com, then there should not be a link on your showcase here. But it only takes that first time to post.

I also believe, as I don't plan to go and look back to research.....But I believe either Elizabeth or St. Christopher mentioned all of this in a post or sticky months ago, that there would be a link on showcase. Always READ before getting into something new!!

If any of you ladies are on TER, they sell out your info and profiles pop up on all these obscure sites that you've never heard of. They take your info from ads and showcase anywhere you have posted on the Web, create a profile, the only way you find out is when you Google your name or number.

BACKPAGE does the same thing!!
They sell your posts to other sites. I found that out the hard way.

Eccie and Adultsearch have some type of cooperative agreement where VPs here get a free ad and profile on there, but it's supposed to be completely optional for the ladies.

It looks to me like AS has removed your profile from their site but that the link still exists in your showcase taking you just to the list of profiles. It's supposed to either link to your AS profile or not be there at all.

I'll pass this along to the powers that be for you. Eccie is not attempting to force anyone to use AS, it's just supposed to be an advertising agreement ladies can optionally take advantage of.
