Besides the debauchery, which of course I am looking forward to
(stop ya laughing Heidi Lynn!!), can you ladies tell me what goes on with our biz during that time? I know there is an onslaught of tourists and that everyone is partying, but is it a good time to take a road trip during the weekdays, and then party on the weekends, or should I stay put and focus on outcall??

My first (not last!) Mardi Gras!!

This too, is my first Mardi Gras since the youthful teens...ewww!
So...now what?

I actually plan to stay put regardless, as I haven't enjoyed the festivities in so very long, but...the real question is this:
Will anyone be available for SEX? I can't go two whole weeks without it...Can anyone...really?

Miss J--fortunately I dont have to go two weeks without sex during that time..lol..I have all I want at home in between my clients!

As far as biz,I did have a few calls during that time last year...my biggest problem is my incall is right of the parade route which makes it a little harder for anyone to get to me.
Also most of the men in town for Mardi Gras are looking for "civilian" ladies...trying to it to get it for free....or they are looking in the casinos & streets and picking up SWs in the quarter.
I will be out of state most of February till the weekend of Mardi Gras{thats when I take off and party like a wild child...lol!!!} I will be dressing appropriately...which is half nekked!!!Throw me some beads if you see me...lol!

You ladies will have fun at Mardi Gras!!

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the input. I am making my way down to hang with you guys for the Spring but think I'll delay it a bit...even tho it was...ready?? -9 degrees when I got up this morning in Boston!! I feel a collective shiver coming from my NoLa friends...

It really depends.

Honestly, it's much better to set up an incall in surrounding areas. Conveinent on the way into the city... you get stuck in so much traffic during the season. I'd imagine that it's nice for gents to pull off for a stop to relax with a lovely lady.

As for that weekend, it'll be a nice kind of warm. I think the following weekend is St. Patty's and then St. Joseph's, also pretty big/fun days of the year imo.

I probably won't hobby this year. My SO is a male stripper (it's awesome), so it's his turn to make the dough during the holidays.

I won't pass up any offers if they're conveinent for me though.

I made a little "lettuce" last year with only my regular eros ads. I was just down there in a suite having fun one night and got a few calls. I would say come just for the fun, and if you get lucky...whoo hoo!

Its very hit or miss. Christy is right that its alot of younger guys 4 to 5 to a room etc.

But you also may get a few local gentlemen during the day that left the office early for a "parade" WINK!!!

I usually end up partying and I also bartend in the quarter too so being Kennedy goes out the window. HAHA

I am ready to come home. I am stuck on the east coast due to a crazy snow storm.. UGH!!

Oh come on, you know I'm not going to miss the party COMPLETELY!! But I am going to leave Boston March 1st and slowly make my way down, arriving just before Fat Tuesday, so the work thing is a non issue. We will all keep in touch and figure out how to connect. Traffic or not, all roads lead to Lucy's!!
Can't wait to be back in NoLa!! I miss it every day.

Lil Red, if you want any advice/input about Hawaii, let me know. I just spent a month there.
You will have a suburb time.
