Toe nails

No, I don't have an odd fetish, my doctor told me I should have my toe nails done by a professional a few times a year. I am not really a mani-pedi type guy, but looking around Amarillo, if there is a strip mall there is a nail place. So how do I pick one? Close to home? Far from home so I won't be recognized? Are there ratings? Are there any that offer "extras"? Topless toenail trimming could be dangerous I suppose.

First, ask your female friends where they get theirs.
Second, get the basic pedi-cure package, unless you want to spend $60 on your visit.
Third, why are you are worried about getting recognized? If you are on a watchlist, then you may some issues.
Fourth, no extras are going to happen.

I'm assuming OP does not want to be recognized by his male friends because he feels getting a pedicure is not a manly act and they may see him with different eyes if seen.

paradise nails & spa is a really good place...it's off of Ross and Osage. I love it there ! There's a new place off of i-40 and Washington in a "strip" of business I have yet to try...but it looks promising. Unfortunately at nails salons , the only thing getting some cut is your toenails.. hope that helps?!

One of these days I am going to quit chasing kids off my lawn and learn how to use the little smiley face things to let people know when I am just joking. But not today.
Of course I might have been remembering this review.

As to why my doc recommended pedicures, I am diabetic. Foot sores can be a problem and badly cut toenails can lead to foot sores. I see a podiatrist once a year and that is covered by insurance. Other than that it's pay as I go.

Well I went to a place and got things done. It is a fairly new place in the United Shopping center at 45th and Bell. I went about 3:30 in the afternoon so not exactly peak time. I walked in and there were 7 Vietnamese women at a bar in the back ranging in age from late middle age to ancient. At the desk was a young Vietnamese girl that spoke perfect English. I don't exactly speak Vietnamese, but can kind of get the gist if I concentrate and the ladies in the back were hoping I could pay. Told the girl at the desk I wanted a pedicure. I was the only customer in the place. She led me to a chair about halfway back and called one of the other ladies up to do the pedicure. The young lady asked if I wanted a manicure too and I said no, she said too bad because that is what she did. So I changed my mind just to have someone to talk to. I chose the base package with no color and things went alright.
EXCEPT
The girl cut off my thumbnails. I use my thumbnails as a cutting device. I am afraid it will be some time before I can sell Copenhagen comfortably.
