If they make a appointment several hours in advance I tell them to confirm 1 hour in advance, and I give confirmation back. Then when he is 10-15 minutes away. If he confirms 1 hour in advance and I don't respond then don't head our yet, wait for me to respond. Confirmation needs to go both ways. Sometimes I forget to turn volume up on my phone
