For me I care more about what kind of frame of mind the wording is coming from and if it is meant to be degrading/disrespectful. With that said, I really don't like hook or funnel.

I love the question because I was always curious. Your answer surprises me.

Funnel even offends me. Clearly it is used only to offend, it has no other purpose.

The surprise is I didn't think Hooker was so bad but I personally wouldn't use Whore, seems I have that backwards, eh? I typically will use "Provider".

I think lots of girls wouldn't like the term whore so I won't speak for everyone. Part of it is the lifestyle I live where cunts, whores, sluts, hoes, etc. are celebrated rather than shamed. I do use "hooker" too, it is when it is shortened to "hook" that I don't like it.

I use the term provider because it is the vernacular that is used and accepted on this site but I actually prefer escort over provider. Companion, entertainer, working girl, lady of the night -- I have no opinion. They do not offend me but I don't generally use those terms.

In the past when I've told RL friends I use escort. I have referred to myself as a hooker as well, doesn't bother me. I recently dubbed Amber Does and myself "hooker bffs" in a funny conversation we had.

As far as dirty talk behind closed doors I love being called a slut, whore etc.

In my life a lot of conventionally disrespectful terms are used as terms of endearment. Cunt, fuck meat, piss whore, etc. I like those names. The men I'm into use them in a loving way. But I'm into consensual degradation when I really like someone. Stupid, worthless, pig, and cow are off limits.
