Anyone have "The One That Got Away?"
So I was wondering if anyone has/had "The One That Got Away (TOTGA)?", either in the Hobby or the RW? I have a couple of mine I'll share after I read a couple of ya'll's posts. Teaser is top TOTGA for me was the first girl I ever dated. She was a stunning, highly educated African girl who had traveled the world. We met on the Boards at Burger King on the North Shore of Boston in a beat-down town called Lynn when we were both 18, I kid you not.
Going deep, how about combining TOTGA with the multiverse theory? For those I just lost, it goes like this: "If only I had the guts to introduce myself to that goddess who smiled at me at the gym that one day last week whom I will probably never see again, how would my life have changed? More broadly, how would the universe have changed?" Thus emerges the multi-verse concept. Maybe in another universe, you grew some nuts and went and introduced yourself to Beatrice.
Please stay on topic, and no ad hominem attacks of any kind on this thread please. If you can't say anything nice, then just stfu.

Ok back on topic DG. Do you have anything of substance you'd like to add to the thread? Or are you just trying to stir shit up by going off topic?

A few things.
1.) Before one can grow nuts in a Multi-verse theory we'd have to know that hydrogen would fuse allowing life to even exist
2.) Highly educated at 18 and world traveler? Maybe Jonathan Swifts book Gulliver's Travels?
3.) Met a lot that "got away" as my preference.

And in case anyone was wondering:
ad ho·mi·nem
adverb & adjective
1. (of an argument or reaction) directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining.
"vicious ad hominem attacks"
2. relating to or associated with a particular person.
"the office was created ad hominem for Fenton"

TOTGA? Yes, once in particular about the time I started the hobby, a decade younger and a few pounds and wrinkles lighter.
I was in a music store (anybody remember those?) early one eve looking for a particular CD, informally attired in a flowered Bohemian low-cut gauze tank top, long green glass beads, and a short jean skirt, browsing next to a quite nice-looking sandy-haired fellow a good 4 inches taller than my Amazonian height and probably several years my junior, and who had evidently just gotten off work as he was in a gray suit with his tie loosened. I said, "Excuse me, sir, but may I reach past you for a moment, please?" Well, he looked straight into my brown eyes with his gorgeous dark orbs and responded, "Miss, you can do anything you want to me," and flashed me a smile so radiant it could have melted 3 pounds of frozen butter into goo on the floor. Just about had that effect on me!
His comment was so unexpectedly out of left field I just completely froze, felt a warm pink flush flood my face, and for one of the very few moments of my life I was completely speechless. He picked up the CD I had been reaching for, set it in my hand and lingered, touching my fingertips, and said, "This one? I like their music a lot, too." Another heart-dropping grin sent my direction.
I just stuttered something about the band being good and walked away, because my date for the evening was 2 aisles over and glaring daggers at the gent's back. I noticed that the sharp-dressed man continued to stare at me with a little smile as I retreated to the check-out.
Ships passing in the night, misaligned stars, bad timing, mere flirtation, whatever. There was just such an instantaneous jolt of connection, I still wonder what would have happened that eve had I been unaccompanied?

I had a few girls that I had crushes on in high school that I thought were TOTGA. But then I saw them at the 20 yr reunion and thanked God that I didn't make a move on them. They all ended up fat and looking like they'd lived hard lives.
However, there was one very beautiful girl with a matching personality from college that did get away from me. Unlike the high school girls I did let this one know that I wanted her. We went out in a few dates and it was great. She found out I was banging some other girls on campus and that was that. She reached out to me years later. She's still just as beautiful as she was before. Doesn't look like she's aged a bit

Back years ago in LA I posted an ad and a girl sent me pro picks and said she was a porn star - I didn't believe it and didn't know who she was and passed -
It was Alana Leigh going through her hooking phase before getting out of the industry -
Fuck!

Interesting points. Category 3 doesn't count unless you asked her to get away but then you thought you had made a huge mistake. The ex of mine whom I dated longest doesn't count as The One Who Got Away cause I thought long and hard before sending her packing. But with my first gf, the circumstances were very different; I definitely regretted my decision to "accidently" lose her number when I started college in another city.

Thinking about the one who.got away will only make you bitter and cynical. Appreciate the ones who stuck around.
Also, how long until pxmcc gets another ban. He's posted long enough for.one..

Indeed as I jog my memory there is one I met many moons ago. In all honesty she gave the best BBBJ known to man and even though some time has passed I can still feel the effects and to date I haven't met anyone with her skill set it was definitely a loss but I'm a rolling stone.
