Her better days are clearly behind her.

She once told me she got a big kick out of being talked about on
the internet. I showed her the old ASPD website and she cracked up
laughing at the entries.

She told me she knew Logan and a few of the other posters.

It looks like retirement may be in her near future?

This sounds like a happy hour convo at On the Border. My experience via phone was different. I'm surprised you got a complete sentence from her. Agree not the same girl from old board.

Hopefully, you were just showing her the non-BCD portion of the “entries”.

I’m still not sure why Bonnie never aspired to get off the streets and from having to move from one shady motel to another. She could have been a decent provider back then, but there seems to be too many personal demons she has been struggling with over the years that just wouldn’t let her leave the “street life”. Sadly, 5-10 years from now, Bonnie will probably still be doing the same thing, working in the same areas and probably still carrying on conversations with herself. I don’t think that Bonnie has experienced “true” happiness for many, many, many yearz…

….I remember picking up this ex OES studio girl that was working the streets in Dallas a few years ago. She had lost her kids to an ex or an agency and I picked her up like a few dayz before Christmas. I remember telling this girl that Christmas was next week and she was in shock and disbelief that Christmas was only a few dayz away and had no idea. I don’t think that girl was in any condition to buy gifts for her kids, but a lot of girls on the street probably never celebrate their birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. I’m hoping that Bonnie will have some brighter dayz ahead.

I do feel sorry for SWs. I have not gone that route in years,although I occasionally pick up a lead from this forum. When Logan (The Duncan Hines of SW) endorses one, she us OK. Anyway, I'm too much of a softie for the sob stories. I will give homeless men a few bucks if they are not aggressive and the same with a SW. I would rather buy them a a meal rather than a bottle, joint or pharmaceutical but that has only happened once years ago in Corpus Christie. Poor Bonnie will probably be dead in ten years.
