Pointers Please
In a little over a week I will be visiting and its been awhile since I have traveled to see Houston and starting to get that "im gonna be lost" feeling.
Where is the most convenient area to stay in?
Is there anything I should see while I am there?
And most importantly...
Where is my "no-fly zone"?
Thanks a bunch and see you soon!

I'm sure you will have no problem enjoying yourself and there's plenty of gents who'd be more than happy to show you what Houston has to offer, including themselves.

Good And Bad
The good areas are the Galleria, the Museum district and anywhere you might find Fast Gunn hanging out would be good places to visit. (Unless, of course, if you see me trying to lose another damn posse! )
As for bad areas, there those aplenty and you would do well to steer clear of them at all costs.
Stay away from the Wards, fourth and fifth especially and places where you see hoodlums loitering about are places only brewing trouble and looking for someone to hustle.
I would also stay away from Telephone road unless you are just always moving and not stopping even for gas!

To an extent I agree Houston doesn't really have shit for tourist, however the nightlife is pretty good. There are tons of resturant, and bars.
