Here it is, o'dark thirty and I'm still up. Works been a bitch going on a year now and it's wearing me out. It's been hard to shutdown at the end of the day. I just need to make it a few more days then some much needed R&R is coming my way for a couple of weeks. Toss in a couple of weeks again back at work then...Vegas.

Was looking forward to it but then I found out what was all going down while I was there and not certain I'll have time to do much while I'm there. A fellow hobbyist says I need to make time, can't disagree with his logic, just hard to break away from the rest of the gang when they know I don't gamble and come up with a plausible excuse to where/what I was doing. Although, I did get a couple of lottery tickets. Think of the fun you could have with that kind of take home.

What I should be doing is solving a couple of issues at work before I punch out for vacation. What I think I'll do instead is play some video games, or with myself. Either way, it's not work related and I don't have to think about it.

Final thought. Has anyone ever suggested that ECCIE should have a poll and post the results? They could have one for ECCIE Worldwide, allow the ladies to have one in their powder room and one for the Men's lounge. That'd be a nice feature to have I think.

Wasn't quite sure what you meant by this. We do have polls (as you are probably already aware). Do you mean polls limited to only the respective private areas?

I was thinking that rather than something like: https://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=2456141 you could have something more like you see on the side bars with the radio buttons where you vote and see the results. There could be one for Ladies powder room, men's lounge, ECCIE worldwide. If the staff is feeling funky enough maybe for each forum itself generated by the community.

Oh, you actually can do that, after a fashion. The “include a poll with your post” option in the post editor. The downside though is that it posts the poll on the front page, nationally, and it only stays there until the next poll comes along and bumps it off. I agree, it would be good to have forum-specific or at least area-specific polls.
