WTF?!?!
I had set an appointment with Summer through ECCIE PM. She responded and agreed to a time at midnight tonight (6/23).
I told her I would call her at 11:30 PM. So, I called but she did not answer. I waited 5 minutes and called again. No answer. I waited 5 minutes and called again and got no answer. I waited until after 12 AM and called (our appointment time) and finally got an answer.
She then gave me directions where to go and I explained to her it would take me 30 minutes to get there. 3o minutes later, I called her and she gave me her hotel and room number. I go to the door and knock, not once, not twice, not thrice, but four different times. After waiting in front of the door for 5 minutes, I called. She did not answer, so I left.
As I am well on my way home, she calls again. I asked her what happened. She told me she was waiting for me and did not hear me knock. So, I reconfirmed her room number and drove back after being halfway home. I go back and the very same thing happens to me... she's flaked on others too... which she has vehemently denied... do I believe them now? Absofrickinlutely!
Is this any way to treat someone????

Aren't there a couple Summer's in the KC area? You should put a link up so people know who you're referring to.

Run of bad luck
Seems you recently had a similar issue with another provider?
Are you bad at choosing or scaring the shit out of them?

Nope - I am not bad at choosing, and if you ever saw me, you'd laugh about scaring the providers - at best, I look like the pillsbury doughboy, LMAO. And my demeanor is oriented toward pleasing. I do have reviews and the reviews don't show the half of who I've seen. I'd bet that everybody on here has had the experience with flaky providers - and on a consistent basis too, unless you stay with your favorites. I am not unusual in that regard. I only comment about flakiness when it is such an horrendous experience (or such an awesome one ). This one I felt merited a post.

Sorry about your experience! I would feel very frustrated as well. WHY do they do that? The first time was bad enough, but to have you come back and do it again is inexcusable in my book.

There have been a rash of flaky providers lately. Maybe you should try to hook up with someone who is known for being reliable and punctual. There ARE quite a lot of us around believe it or not. LOL.

I saw the "review" of Summer and this caught my eye.

I will cut her some slack from an attitude perspective, but I agree about not dealing with the frustration of trying to make an appointment! You could probably say that about a high percentage of 19 year old providers."
Experimenting at the expense of you guys, your time, your money, etc. You guys (in general) keep cutting her slack, she's going to continue the behavior.
I'm so glad I learned in high school, that when you make an appointment (in general) you keep it and if you can't, you call or make your apologies ASAP. Even more so in the business world, but especially in this business. Its not like you're telling your secretary or wife that you're off to meet a hooker, you have to have a cover story, an alibi.
At 19 yrs of age, you know the difference between right and wrong. That type of behavior just shows lack of respect towards people period.

I agree MsElena. 19 is young but even at that age, folks are being sent to war, getting married and having kids, getting jobs and supporting themselves, etc. No reason at all to play these silly games.

Ditto. In fact, I think she was deliberately playing this guy for her own entertainment. I wouldn't cut her 10 cents worth of slack. I was trusted enough at 17 to be put in charge of a temporary milling facility with two other employees under me, millions of dollars of equipment, hundreds of customers and a schedule to meet lest hundreds of thousands of dollars be lost. The military example is an even better one, and I know of other youthful examples. So that age excuse doesn't wash, it's haughty Code of Dumb Bitchery at work here and if there was a penalty box of Eccie she would certainly be a candidate. You respectful and responsible girls, you get it and my hat is off to you.
