Default Stimulus Did More Harm Than Good

If they could only just leave things alone . . .

Default Limited places to publish

Mainstream common sense media are not mining articles from right wing media ergo the only places stuff like this can be published are shit like this.

Now on the other hand Fox might be willing to cite.....you know old fair and balanced reporting more than slightly tipped to the right to offset the normal.

COG......if we ever meet for a drink you are at risk that I take my bottle of beer to your head out of frustration. I can only conclude that you are out of medication.

Those were the President's economists that said the stimulus was worthless, even damaging. What verifiable data do you have that says otherwise? $278K per job? They need to get out of the game.

Default Stimulus

Was worth a shot at preventing Hoovervilles and I am positive there is some good from it even if it delayed the apocalypse for a while.

I am gonna have to find a good strong long necked beer brand that does not show blood.

You coulda been a contender darn ya anyway!

In other words, you hold to the President's view, regardless of the facts. I'll buy the beer! If you can't see the truth of what's going on here, I'm pretty sure you'll miss my head and other vital parts. God Bless you, CND.

Default Beer

COG if I have the chance to eliminate one misguided voter with a clever twist of the wrist I might just do it.

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance.

Barry G. I liked and respected him but of course would have never voted for him.

In 1930 Herbert Hoover encouraged businesses in the country to hire people even if they could not be paid for with profit. The difference between Hoover and Obama is that Hoover asked and Obama demands with intimidation. Hoover also did not blow out the budget but FDR did and only the build up to World War II saved FDR's reputation. While the rest of the world had left the Great Depression behind the US (and the USSR) were still mired in joblessness.

Rick Santorum is an idiot.

"[Obama] passed a huge stimulus package that now we know, over the past two quarters, has actually cost American jobs, and that's from the report of his own administration," Santorum asserted. "They claimed in December that by the end of last year that they created 280 million jobs, and now they’re saying that they created only 240 million jobs."

"If you look at the report that came out on Friday, the President's own economic advisers said that the jobs stimulus package actually created fewer jobs over the period of time, since the stimulus package went in place than it did when they reported back in December. In other words, there's 30 million less jobs as a result of the stimulus package," Santorum explained.

There are currently 13.9 million people unemployed, and only 153 million in the entire U.S. labor force.

KCJ, ok, Rick Santorum is an idiot. That's a given. I don't know what that has to do with this discussion, but Rick Santorum is definitely an idiot.

CND, Hmmm . . . you want to eliminate misguided voters. Can you say "Stalin?"
J/K CND, I know you don't mean that. The give and take, back and forth, that's what makes this fun. And futile, but fun. It is fun, isn't it? Yeah, sure, it's fun. I think.

Sure it's fun COG.

Hey let's go out in the alley and have a smoke or just stand with me while I do. Leave your beer we can share my hard fired longneck bottle.

It will be fun COG.

This is a discussion about the stimulus isn't it? Just wanted to add Santourm's comments regarding the stimulas and show what a fool his is. Didn't think it warranted a new thread.

Longer, I enjoyed Maddow's impersonation of Keith Olbermann. Makes no sense here, but it was good. Romney lied? Duh!
