Just a Caution for Bali and I think Lucky Haven Across the Street
Gentlemen,
I was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago and ended up going out late on the Saturday night. I was going to go to Lucky Haven (or whatever it is called now; it is across from Bali) on some of your recommendations. Pulled into the lot at Lucky Haven and parked. I usually want to see what is going on before I get out of the car. A monger came out and this Black guy started talking to him.... I thought nothing of it, but I pulled out and reparked in the very back of the lot behind the building.
I got out and two black guys come running up to me and start asking me a bunch of questions and then say they are the police and talking shit. They want my ID, they want to know what I'm doing there. They can't show me a badge or anything, so I start walking back to my car. The one guy tells the other to take a picture of my plate and that they have proof I was there and the one is telling the other to call it in. I got into my car and locked the doors. I then drove out as fast as possible and drove down the street and then back to Bali.... More lights out front.
Obviously, these guys weren't cops, but they could be robbing guys coming there or whatever. I was happy to get out of there in one piece. Just be careful guys. Maybe I went too late.
