Palms Casino or Palms Place?
I’ll be in Vegas next week. I was thinking about booking the at the Palms. The thing is I see 2 different listings. The Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place Hotel and Spa at the Palms. The prices are the same. Which place would be better to get? Do they both require keys for the elevator? Are either nice?

Palms Casino is the recently renovated property owned by Stations/Red Rock. 2 towers of rooms. KAOS, a day/night club space just opened up.
Palms Place is the separate condo tower that was built. There's an enclosed walkway between the 2 properties. As it was originally a condo tower, it has a more AirBNB feel to it. There's a separate spa at Palms Place (not sure if it's still there). Also not sure if there's a restaurant/bar on the pool deck for Palms Place.
No idea about elevator key but the old fantasy tower at Palms used to have a heavier security presence before getting to the elevators. More likely to need a room key at the elevators for Palms Place and any suite floor at Palms.
It really depends if you want that casino experience or be a be sorta arms length from that.

The Palms place requires you to show a key card downstairs at security, I am not sure about the Palms hotel side.

At eh Palms I've always had to show a keycard at night to get up and at Palms Place I've never had to show or use a key Day or Night
I like the Palms Place because they have outdoor decks (if the doors are open) and the one bedrooms are pretty nice with a fireplace.

Palms place rooms are IMO way cooler.. kind of a studio type vibe.. and doesn’t take long to get to the casino!
