Some people are casually pro-life (I don't believe in abortion but I'm not going tell someone how to live their life.), staunchly pro-life (abortion is infanticide and we to restrict it legally.), and rabid pro-life (anyone involved in abortion is in some way guilty of murder and should be stopped by any means necessary.). They Hyde amendment has given us the illusion that our money is not being spent on killing babies and racism. Money is fungible. Take away the Hyde amendment and the shit hits the fan. It will be obvious that taxpayer is going to the murder institutions that are carrying out the Nazi ideals.

I vote ya have to pass a test and a fat bank account to have a kid....until , your tubes stay tied.
That'd solve all kinds of problems on both the right and left.

Abortion should be legal until the kid moves out on their own.
The Dems won't allow it because it would kill off too much of their snowflake voter base that is still living in Mom's basement.

Democrats will not self-immolate over any issue when it comes to a head-to-head election between a Democrat and Republican....they will fight and spit and tear at each other until they get their nominee....then they will get in a perfect file formation and march well disciplined behind their leader. The only way to deter a liberal from voting for the Democrat nominee is to give them a third option like a Green Party, or Democrat Socialist Party....then they will steal from the Democrat...and cause liberal immolation then. Liberals saw it with Ralph Nader....and Conservatives saw it with Ross Perot.

30% is not a very high number when compared to the other issues important to voters:
Health care 80%
The economy 78%
Immigration 78%
Treatment of women 74%

Well, here's the thing. There are alot of people who say that abortion is not high on their voting list but - in reality - it is. They just are not saying it out loud.
Catholics - that's a big voting bloc - no matter what state your talking about.
This is what I was trying to get at in the Austin forum.

If you think abortion is more important than the economy....you haven't been paying attention to election results.
But pro life presidents have to throw the lifers a bone. That is how we got Sara Huck.
Plus if you take away abortion, there will be a wave of voters to overturn that.
The GOP got killed by women in the midterm.

I don't think RvW will ever be overturned. Worse case scenario for Pro-Choicers is maybe decisions made at state levels (Which the Constitution originally meant for more day-to-day lifestyle decisions to be made anyway)

I thought the framers wanted more individual choice...you know , life , liberty and the pursuit of happiness or wtf ever that diddy's is.
It is slowly getting overturned with these ominous regulations....I thought Trump and the GOP was for less regulations?!

You are right...they did...they thought that would be better achieved closer to the people it actually affects (state and local level) rather than a thousand miles away in the marbled halls of Washington DC.

Yet the God damn states want to give very little power to local government and local government wants to give even less to individuals... so it seems the Federal government in this instance is keeping states from taking away what should be individual choice.
Think about that...

Can you back up what you are saying? Got anything at all to support your statement that abortion is more of an issue than it seems to be? I understand what you are trying to get at but there is no proof that what you are saying is true.
