Bahamas Birthday!
Hi Sexy girls and guys!
My birthday is coming up and I wanted to celebrate in a big way! I was thinking about the
Bahamas or Costa Rica. I want to be able to do fun things I haven't done before like snorkeling,
kayaking, lots of night life fun, and maybe even a massage on the beach. I would love to hear about
a vacation that you have been on and would highly suggest to someone! I am looking for something
over the top, but still reasonably affordable.
Hugs and Kisses,
Maria of DFW

Cruise out of Miami Royal Carabian. Best of all worlds. Visit a number of locations, be waited on hand and foot on board. Lots to do or relax and do nothing. I went to jamacia, Belize, and Greater Caymans. Learned to scuba dive, pet some sharks, swam with the douphins. Lots more.

Maria, I've been to both Costa Rica (twice), the Bahamas and Belize, they are all great places for that! PM me with the dates and what ideas you have and I'll give you my input!

If you want Caribbean beaches, St. John or St. Thomas are beautiful (but maybe not the most popular). Also heard good things about St. Croix, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico but haven't been to them. I wasn't that crazy about the Bahamas, but just my opinion and maybe wasn't there long enough to give it a fair chance.
Favorite vacations that I've done:
1. Fly to California and rent a car. Spend a day or two each in Yosemite, Tahoe, and San Francisco. Then drive the PCH to LA (be sure to stop at Hearst Castle). Spend a day or two in LA and fly home. If you haven't driven the PCH, it's something you should do at least once.
2. Seven day Caribbean cruise on a quality cruise line (I did Norwegian Cruise Lines). Preferably a cruise that spends a couple of days at sea and doesn't stop every day. The one I took stopped at St. Maarten, St. John, and St. Thomas. Bubba is right about cruises. Best way to relax and low stress.
On my list yet to do:
Seven day Alaska cruise. (If this appeals to you, let me know. We might have a date...)
Australia / New Zealand. But, that's in a whole different league and probably out of reach for now.

Re: It's A Date!!!
Maria,
I've wanted to visit Australia since I learned about it in 3rd or 4th grade. Of course, that's been quite a bit longer for me than for you! I think Alaska is next up on my list, though.
This sounds like great fun, but just one question: Do you think we should actually meet first before making plans? Or, do you want to make it a blind date?
Oh, and by the way, when you said this:

... nice of you to say, but you might want to reserve judgment on that!

I lived in Sydney for 4 months. The Rocks area is very good for nightlife and you'll find some brothels there as well. Take a water taxi at night to view the city. Take the tour to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, visit the Opera House just off Circular Quay (pronounced "key"), and travel out to the Blue Mountains for some daytime adventure. The wine country outside Adelaide and of course the Great Barrier reef are also excellent trips.
Maria would look great in only her bikini bottom at Bondi Beach (tops optional). I don't know that I can say that about wild BillW until he posts some pics -- just kidding...
Bubba's suggestion is probably the best and most economical if you've never been to the Caribbean as you get to see a number of the islands.
