Stalinism is Alive and Thriving

The cancel culture has evolved into a Srtalin-era style purge.
Any one remotly connectd to the republican side of the post lection controversrys is now facing social and professional ersure on te internet and at work.

From my vantage point as a "boomer" with recollections of political activity going back to the McCarthy era, much of this reminds me of the Red Chinese Cultural Revolution.

Historically, the current goings-on remind me of other political purges.. Sadam Hussein did it as did Stalin before him. So fart, folks have lost their web presence. Some have lost their jobs. Eventually thse folks will fave evictions and be forbidden to rent. I expect access to funds through credit/debit card services may be closed.

This is not the America I grew up in. This is not th United States envisioned by the nation's founders however flawed they may have been. Re-read the first paragraph or two of the Declaration of Indipendance and then the Preamble of the Constitution if you are unclear about their ivision.

My recollection of the McCarthy era is that people were blackckballed for what they thought or believed, and denied work. Similar to what happened in the Communist Chinese Cultural Revolution . . .except that many who were blackballed. . .were then killed. In Stalinist Russia people just became "non-persons" . . . . and were disappeared.

What is going on now seems to be a cultural purge that extends well beyond the political realm and into a wider societal purge of opposing ideas and opinion.

The DPST party and its LSM is behaving in a censoring, hating, and Purging mode to all who do not worship at their altar of marxis and lenin, and put forth heroes such as Mao, Kim, Stalin, and Castro/Che - all devoted tyrants and diabolical murderers.

They intend to censor and silence all with respect for the Constitution and self-reliance - Capitalism.

A now dirty word - and Capitalists are purged under their Socialism/Tyranny. .

Brief comment - the thoughts and ideas behind the first sentence of this post is correct - IMHO.

The second sentence is of those Truly deluded by the LSM and the DPST marxist party narrative.

Odd, the items I have seen seem to show it's the wacked out end of the conservatives who assaulted Linsey Graham and other Republicans who are not "ideologically pure" and had the audacity to say "Yes, Trump lost".

I seem to think "disregard for the Constitution" depends a whole lot on your interpretation of various words and phrases in it. And I suspect your interpretation is only one of many out there--and not inherently better from some things you have said on here.

Remember Abe L.? He certainly ignored the Constitution according to many people. So did Truman. LBJ. Nixon. I forgot that all those guys came AFTER Clinton in your time line.
