Beware of “Warming” lube

Today I decided to use my brand new bottle of lube. I won’t tell you what I used it for, but I will tell you I was alone.

As I was starting the process, I noticed my dick start to get warm. I though I was hallucinating, not for the first time, and continued on. Soon, I could no longer deny it: My dick was burning. It became more and more intense, and I became concerned.
It hurt. I mean it felt like a stuck my member in a jar of pickled habanero peppers.
Finally I stopped what I was doing to investigate.

There on the bottle, I saw it in a red, italic script, “Warming.” It should say “warning!” Calling this lube warming is an understatement. I had to go to the shower and immediately wash it off. I threw my new bottle of masochistic lube in the trash.

Watch out for the warming lube.

Maybe it's used for when you wake in the morning and you don't have to look for the grub worm because it is too cold to come out.

Had a provider use that stuff...she said it was the same she always got at Walmart. My dick was on fire and very irritated. She couldn’t read English to know it was the warming kind.

Ouch. I guess like jalapeño peppers some are hotter than others. Most of that stuff is not that bad.
It sounds like that brand was using the Biofreeze or Icy-Hot formula. That has to be rough on a vagina.

Most of those lubes are designed to get warmer with friction.

I use the Wal-Mart lube and does get a little warm, well worth the extra slippery effect I get from it, no smell, no taste, highly recommended

I bought one that had "vitamin E" in it. It was from a reputable brand. It did NOT feel awesome, and my SO was the first to notice it; she did not like it either.

Why does one need vitamin E in their lube? (Spoiler Alert: You Don't!)

It's likely a cheap off brand then. I have tried KY with a provider (she had) and it was fine. When it comes to any of that stuff, never go cheap!

I never use warming lube on gents or gals...never know when somebody might react badly to it.....and my kitty is picky about her lube..I like Sliquid organic silk for lube & warm coconut oil for slides

i agree with dallas rain-
-i NEVER use drug store lubes that have chemicaLs in them-
-onLy NATURAL lubes like coconut oil--even plain cooking oil works
-if the lube is safe enough to be INSIDE your body (the kitchen oils)_ then it i s safe enough to be on the OUTSIDE of your body-
-dick or pussy or ass
