Re “Outrage from top Democrats” (March 6): Comparing Democrat’s outrage of Brett Kavanaugh to Democrat’s lack of outrage to Mario Cuomo’s scandal is almost apples to oranges.

Cuomo is just another governor doing and saying stupid things like so many other governor’s who have done and said stupid things as well.

Cuomo’s problem is that he had so much national attention in the beginning of 2020 that he is now front-page news. But in reality he is just another hypocritical politician.

Allow me to explain the difference in Democrats’ reaction to Brett Kavanaugh and Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo is rightly called out for his obnoxious and unwanted attention to several women. He has attempted to apologize.
A very credible victim alleged Kavanaugh attempted rape. His response — he likes beer.
Kavanaugh was appointed to a lifetime position on the highest court in the nation. Cuomo can be voted out next year. See the difference?

I have a message for Steve Breen: Actions speak louder than words.
Brett Kavanaugh was accused of attempted rape. Andrew Cuomo is accused of indiscreet and suggestive conversation. There is a world of difference between the two.
Unfortunately, most of us at some time in our life have been guilty of speaking disrespectfully to another. Thankfully, most of us have not been guilty of attempting to rape another.
There is a world of difference between the two, and Breen seems incapable of perceiving this difference.
