There have been numerous reports that Mossad has penetrated the Iranian high command. Is it possible that by process of elimination the next Ayatollah might be Mossad.

no. the Ayatollah's son is reported to still be alive and he's not Mossad. he is in fact as hard core as his father was and probable heir apparent. Israel probably wants that guy dead too.
