A Long Lingering Question for the Ladies . . .

I have often thought how or why ladies don't take on popular names used in music, movies, whatever. Seems to me they would be better remembered over all. I have my own theories as to how names are chosen otherwise.

From the far ends of the spectrum two that come instantly to mind . . . Layla and "Mary Lou Rottencrotch". The second is seriously obvious but still leaves the question. I can recall one who used "Lola" but I think she changed when she found out where it came from and relates to. "Peggy Sue" is another, albeit the name goes WAY back. I'm sure guys will come up with a few dozen more!

Just thinking with my fingers . . .


Side note . . . "Peggy Sue" was an actual person. She recently died of natural causes.

Mine was a nickname given to me a few years back and it just stuck. When it came time to think of a handle I struggled for several days until I just decided to use that one.
I ask gentleman how they came up with their as well if I cant figure it out!
