Senile Biden cut U.S. oil production, canceled pipelines, and now he's selling off the Strategic Petroleum Reserve — meant for emergencies — because of his low poll numbers.

More incompetence from the Biden White House.

Senile Biden is only pretending to care about the cost of gas because his poll numbers have collapsed. His unhinged Secretary of Energy wants to ban gasoline. That's the actual policy preference of the Senile Biden Administration.

Historically, the US released strategic oil reserves twice and oil price increased afterwards. We were energy independent before 2021 & gas was cheap. A sensible way to address the rising gas prices is to encourage more domestic production. Guess that’s too much to ask for Senile Biden

2005: W. Bush released 11M in wake of Katrina.

1991: President H.W. Bush released 17M during first Gulf War.

Now: Senile Biden releases 50M solely to prop up his disastrous falling poll numbers

And let's not forget this - now that Senile Biden is releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to try to slightly offset growing prices, Dems attacked Republicans and president Trump who wanted to fill up the SPR when oil prices were incredibly low but the anti-American libtard Dems called it a “bailout for big oil”

March 2020 flashback - Senate Dem leader Schumer says deal w/GOP on coronavirus response package eliminates the “$3 billion bailout for big oil,” which presumably refers to language in prior GOP version to fund White House plan to buy 77 million barrels for the SPR.

just a point of fact on this topic. you know we always hear about the 97% of scientists agree on climate change . Well climate crackbrains sit down and take a deep breathe . What you have been led to believe isnt totally true heres the truth ;

the origin of the 97% figure is the NASA june 2013 paper that cited 11,994 scientific papers published between 1991 and 2011 that mentioned global warming and climate change . of those papers 66.4 expressed no opinion or support. 33.6 % did express an opinion either supporting or rejecting the premise. of the 33.6 % , 97% did support the theory. so the point is 97% of 33.6% support climate change which is actually 32.5% of all scientists. in the study the 97% was worded as the consensus in the article while the truth , the actual number of climate scientists that support climate change is 32.5% , and it is buried in the footnotes . look it up !

Electric cars powered by electricity generated by burning fossil fuels. Someone needs to take these morons back to fifth grade and retake the tests on the laws of conservation of matter and energy. Throw in the concept of loss and efficiency as well. That million cubic feet of NG is much more productive used directly than when it’s converted into electricity.

The easy way to tell that leftists don’t actually give AF about conservation is to ask them their view on nuclear power.

A lot of Senile Biden's "Strategic" Oil Reserve Release Will Go To China And India

Remember that release of 50 million barrels of oil (3 days US supply) from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve? Let us jog your memory: it was the hallmark solution proposed by the Biden administration to try and address soaring energy costs for Americans.

Well, it turns out that most of that oil is going to wind up in China and India, Fox News reports. Both countries have been "actively purchasing U.S. sour crude oil produced in the Gulf of Mexico".

Sour crude is appealing to foreign buyers due to its affordable price, which comes from its high sulfur content. This also makes it tougher to refine and process.

18 million barrels of the 50 million released have already been approved for sale. 32 million barrels remain and will be "intended for U.S. consumers to alleviate increased demand," Fox News reports.
