There needs to be an upper limit on how old you can be to serve the country.

Supreme court as a 'for life' thing is stupid. Most of these people were born before telephones were in every single house in the country, none the less cable TV or internet.

every politician does the same ruse to get ppl to buy in. Remember that guy who used to say " everyone is talking about it" or " I hear people tell me______." the 3rd party validation of the silent but still represented population- What a joke!?

It's simple politicians are in it for themselves; no need to look any further than the ego's they all have, whether they are more discreet than others is really the only difference. I'd say 98% of them are on the take somewhere, somehow. etc. There was a great documentary on Netflix that highlighted that you literally have to buy your seat on a committee. You pledge an amount of 500k -2 million depending on the level of influence within that committee seat, and then use your political donations to repay that seat cost to the person who usually chairs it, and it's party. It's a dirty ugly little secret that means when you sit on a committee, you literally bought it, regardless of being nominated to it, and have an obligation to repay for that seat. These corrupt motherfuckers in Washington need to be all audited and thrown the fuck out. You cannot earn 7 figures of wealth in 4-24 years of service at 179k annual salary. But most of them have that. If you do a search there is a number of these shows on public and streaming services that outline just how completely appalling this is.
