Default Park Central LBJ area?

Park Central? Did this area use to have another name?
I have been in Dallas this whole time and pretty sure this is the first time I have seen this advertised as an actual area????????????

Park Central goes from s.w. corner of Coit & LBJ all the way over to Hillcrest and Forest Ln.
that tall bldg east of the big homes was once the headqurtes bldg for EDS, H. Ross Perot's company. some group use to hold concerts on their big lawn - Starfest, i believe.

the area from Coit & LBJ over to Central is also called the "High Five" area cos of the Central & LBJ intersection. since Tx Instruments is on n.e. corner and big empty staging space on the s.e. corner, i dont know if those areas are part of the High Five.

I have lived here all my life since 1953.It was just North Dallas back then, but then they built LBJ and it was called Park Central once the hotels and businesses sprang up.Then came the High-Five.NDT was once a railway.

high 5, Park Central or North Dallas

those really are different areas (see attached image).

I can't speak for how long it has been known as that-- but I can say that my first incall in Dallas was in that area back in 2006.. and it was called Park Central then.

That is what knew the area as years before I heard it called park central. Lol! And one exit done off royal ln. They started rebuilding that area and was trying to name it midtown or midtown park but doesn't seem anyone really knows about it.

the folks who bought/tore down/plan to rebuild valley view mall are calling it "midtown".

High 5 is the LBJ&75 intersection and areas immediately to the west.
Park Central is the business district from Coit & LBJ south to forest ln & west to white rock creek.

maybe your dallas reunion tour could be in that same area?

Gina of PrivateConnections used to get places in Park Central for the providers who worked w/ her.
unfortunately, the Crowne Plaza Dallas Hotel-Suites has been renamed and the Harvey House is long gone.
but the Westin Park Central and the Marriott Residence Inn are still alive and well.
lots of deliteful memories from encounters in all four establishments ... but not one w/you - we met elsewhere.
