Tech Advice
The old lady wants to put the family on Life360 or one of those location trackers. How do you hack around that? Advice appreciated.

I don't support this . Anyways, they make fake GPS spoofing apps. It changes the location on your phone to make it seem like you are at one place but really at another. Also, so apps even let you make it seem like your moving around, you can set pre determined coodinates.

Coed might be a better place to ask this question.

You need to find AMPS that are next to Grocery stores, Lowes, and other places you normally visit, good luck with that. Lowes in Little Elm... The problem is that you have to show progress in the house projects at the same time...

Tell her no. Those apps are to track kids not adults. There is no reason for you to be on a tracking app.

Here’s what you do? Find the AMPs that you like to go and make it your primary place to go. Once you find a place, then call your AMP lady by phone, don’t text, to see if they have a spot. Once your AMP is ready, then turn your off and leave it behind a place in your house that the old lady can’t find it. Then, you should make an excuse in running an errand; such as, researching buying a gun in protecting your family because of high crime or go to Harbor Freight that you want to compare shitty tools and good quality tools and you have a digital coupon, too. Once, you drive to your AMP without your phone, then park the vehicle near a retail store. You should be clear.
Or you buy a throw way phone, but hide it very well, so your old lady can’t find it.
Good luck in your adventures.

My SO did the same. I said no. Told her I don't want any app that records my location. (She knows I don't use location services & I only d/l an app if I have to.)
"But, what if I need to know where you are?"
"You have a phone. Call or text me."

Not making a dig at anyone on the other side but this is just one more great reason to lean right.
My wife wouldn't even think for 1 second of me taking a location tracker on my phone. I hate tracking and have to put up with enough as it is.
Tell her Biden has fucked you on Dems (even if you keep voting that way) and now you are a NEOCON who rejects government/big tech survellience.

….while waving your ar-15 in her face .. freedumb!,
Mostly kidding. Just tell her this. “. Fuck that! I’m not you’re fucking dog. Make me wear a tracker and you can track my ass as I visit the local divorce attorney. You are demonstrating serious trust issues.“
How,s that for a view from the left?
Ha!

Team up with the kids and make her think that she’s too controlling. She’ll be forced to doubt herself and hopefully she changes her mind. Whatever you do, do not confess, do not get caught.

No need to piss her off. Just say you don't trust apps that track you. Then, watch "The Social Dilemma" with her and the kids. It's on Netflix.

1. Like everybody said, push back. You are not the kid in the family.
If that doesn't work,
2. Get a VPN that has GPS spoofer. Install it when you are hobbying. You can set your phone's location to some
local homedepot or lowes.
