Ladies mostly, whose responsibility is it to check grandfathering?
I had a meeting yesterday. Typically I try to be respectful regarding the woman's fee setting.
Without going over the scenario, I have a general question that may not have been asked in a while.
When a woman changes her fee (most commonly upward), is it the guy's or the woman's responsibility to verify whether he has been grandfathered at the rate provided during the previous session?
It seems customary to grandfather clients after they've visited a few times.
Is it really? Who is supposed to do what to avoid confusion at the door or upon the end of the session?

I have been wondering the same thing and have been torn about how to handle it. So, what I do is give the donation for time up front and then give them a tip after. Usually .20-.50 just so the provider knows that I do respect her time.

Always ask if you are grandfathered in the fee schedule. It's your money you ask. It is for me to know how much money to put in the envelope. I never speak of money no matter how many times I have been with the provider. Find out before you show up at the door.

Sounds good but I flinch at the spot that puts the provider in too.
"Am I grandfathered?"
"No. For you I'll need extra."

Luv ya', nikk.... you are the coolest, and topics like this show why. I have never met anyone in this hobby who is more fair and who is worried less about these kinds of things than you are. And it only contributes to your success.

I have no problem with the new rate, it's much easier than being associated with the term "grandfather"! I'm not ready to feel that old!

I look at it as an ARRP discount. But on the other hand they have to work harder It's not like I was a teen ager. LOL

I aviod the whole grandfather process. I either throw on a special or directly tell them it's their special day.
However, if I did honour it, I'd mention it first.

The few times I've seen fees go up, I've been silently grandfathered....which really is the nicest thing a provider can do.

for me it depends on the last time you had seen me..some haven't seen me in a year or 2 ..sooo..that brings up the whole..will your feeling be hurt if I don't grandfather you in because you haven't seen me in a certain length of time..now things come into play with that as well...I mean..where ya been?

I have no problem with the term "grandfather"/ed. But then most of the ones I may be grandfathered by, I am also a frequent flier with. I could not afford to be a frequent flier of any more. But if one drops out, Hanna, Nikki and Nita would are on my shopping try out list. mmmmm I have meet Hanna. Nikki, Nita, stop praying for none of them to dump me
