About to GIve Up On Studios

Just thought I'd throw a thought out there. I'm about to give up on studios. I've tried Lovely Angels, Greenlight, all the MKs, MizzKim, Kpop, etc. I've become discouraged by several things:
1. It's getting more common for the girl you see to not be the girl you thought you were seeing.
2. The extra charges are simply going out of sight.
3. We all know the pictures are always bogus.
4. Getting clearance seems to involve everything up to my grandmother's maiden name.
5. If you ever, repeat 'ever', have some conflict, disagreement, etc. with a studio, you become persona non grata.
6. Let's face it. Studios are now at the upper end of the monetary ladder with regard to afternoon delights.
7. Seems to me the level of service is going down rather than going up, and it's getting harder to believe the reviews.

What did I miss?

So I havnt quit entirely, but my visits are definitely not what they used to be when I first started and I agree with some of what you said.


1. Not sure if you mean pictures or based on reviews. If based on reviews... that has always been a thing I feel. Have to learn to navigate the promoters vs real mongers. and even then, a lot of YMMV crap.

2. Yeah this has been an on going thing.

3. Not sure if this is a continuation of 1. but yes. I feel this has been like this since I started back in 21. I dont know if it was better before the pandemic but when I started, pictures rarely matched what you were getting. A few exceptions were like LA/GL Emma, Thai Abby and Asa.

4. Yeah.. I gave my DL to LA when I first started.. but that slowly got me into the rest.. and thankfully thats the only time I had to give anything like that. And I was a newbie at the time .. reading stuff here made me more cautious.
5. Yeah.. some of the bookers/owners need to learn to take bad reviews and learn how to improve based on them. A lady is not providing good service.. maybe its time to cut her loose or see whats going on. Dont blame the paying customer.
6. One of the main reasons I dont go as often anymore. I can do 320 but it has to have no upgrade fees. 350.. or is it 360 now at GL... I would do that every now and then if there is someone I want to see. There isnt right now. Amy or Ivy ever came back tho, its on.
7. Reviews have always been hit or miss. Gotta learn who you can believe vs who to trust. Its a bit harder since they no longer use the movie star accounts lol. For the most part I agree on this. There are some gems tho. Abby when she is around. Im always a fan of Asa and Emma. AS Joy is always a fun visit. Out of my most current visits, Yummy at MKA and Rina at that one C Org were a blast.


I have gone indy for the most part. Ill tip my toes back into the studios here and there. If Jinah / Ivy / Amy / Asa came back, I would probably visit them for sure.

I remember the glory days of Spas a decade ago. 200 bucks to go raw with a Korean hottie for a hour. But I also remember houses and cars being half the price they are now. Inflation is real. Seeing a studio girl is still more affordable then seeing a indi as prices to see a decent looking girl start near 400.


On your 3rd point, thats the way its been in the whole hobby since day one brother. I just stay away from the places with very obvious fake pics. Ive only been out of retirement for 2 months and out of the ladies I've seen only 15%-20% haven't looked like thier pictures. AS has been pretty reliable. Sua is her. GL the ladies are them but from 10 years ago. I stay away from bk cause the pics are so clearly edited I don't want to take that risk.



Tbh it sounds a little bit like you've become a little jaded to the hobby, which is understandable with how many ladies you've seen. Maybe your just not feeling satisfaction from that kind of interaction anymore.

And what’s funny is the OG days were actually hot young Koreans like Foxy from Blue, Cherry from Rainbow, Judy from Lucky Haven, Thai Cici from #1 spa unlike these 30, 40 year olds we are getting at the studios

In my experience, over the last couple of years, more often the girls in the photos are at best heavily ps. The girls are 10-20 years older irl.

I have now taken the policy that if they don’t match the photos then I’m bouncing. If the studios want to ban me after that then I’m ok with it.

I mean, I completely understand your frustration, but you're going to be walking out of just about every one of your appointments if you apply this methodology to every girl you see. But I guess if you have nothing to lose and don't mind getting banned from studios, then more power to you.

Personally, I don't put much stock into photos on the website. I rely on TER reviews (and reviews on here) and try and get the consensus amongst all the reviews on age, physical appearance, and services. I typically don't go in with super high expectations and a lot of the time I am pleasantly surprised. If you go in with sky high expectations (i.e. expect girl to match pics on website), you will be disappointed 95% of the time. That's just the reality.

I feel you, bro. I’ve been tempted many times to do the same. I already scaled back significantly but it’s hard to give up completely especially when I travel and get bored for days in random hotel rooms. But nowadays I mostly monger abroad and only maybe 20% stateside. Ultimately no one personally is going to make a change, unless most mongers decide to stop supporting bad service. But at least I know that I get better bang for my buck abroad.
For me, what pisses me off the most is chicks who offer bad service. I can live with some older pics and heavily photoshopped ones, but when they give me attitude in the room that’s when I get upset. There’s a lot of providers nowadays who act more like spoiled sugar babies rather than professional escorts. And there’s so much crap in reviews that it’s hard to find real ones.
Case in point, out of 4 gloriously reviewed providers in Houston, 3 were awful so now I’m stuck in Dallas for 3 more days and have not seen anyone yet because all reviews I can find are suspiciously good and I’m not about to blow up money again for subpar service from heavily promoted girls. I’d rather save and splurge in Tokyo and Singapore when I get there in a couple of weeks.

I don’t think I have ever seen a photo that matches the real looks for any provider I have ever seen and I have been doing this for awhile. I focus on the menu and skill level of the provider for the most part.

I totally agree prices have been going up while service has been going down on average. I used to hit the amp up every week and almost never had a bad experience. Now my experience is either bad or just avg most of the time. I just feel like it’s a huge waste of time and money now. If the service was as good as it had been then maybe I would be okay with it.

I keep track of a few providers i really like. I Get their information and keep in touch so I can see them when they are in town. And that’s really help but they don’t come to DFW as often as they used to.

OP these are all great points, and I would suggest do as you wish. I’m not here to push or push anything, but with that being said.. things have clearly gotten out of hand…

Things that I tried to push for during the “boycott” and what should have also been pushed after the raid… 1-We want better pics (if chick doesn’t want face in it, fine at least show me the real body). 2-Everyone stop paying up chargers! If you find someone who doesn’t charge stick with them (and post about it so they continue to see people with no tax! 3- do not be afraid to say pass or no, these I’ve told chicks no thanks or pass on upcharges.. also I’ve done it a few times but not alot to be confident in it, but tell booker you start with 30, if good you will do hr, that should encourage them to give better effort and I t has worked the few times I’ve done it (even played dumb have donation for HHR girl counted we did our thing at 30 she was like done, I said what?!? She shows me, I go oh what?!? Boom pulled out the part then we went back to it but gave me option to dip and keep some of disappointed…

Also do not be afraid to turn around and say no!

Here’s what I will ask the booker if I’m meeting a new girl for me, is that her recent real picture on the website? If they tell me yes and it’s not then I bounce.

I don’t have a TER membership so I can’t see any of the details. I have looked at the photo comments and those have been wrong more often than not as well.

You need to read the whole review and not just the part at the top. A lot of TER reviewers don't put details about physical appearance until the 2nd part of the review. Yes, of course some of the TER reviews are promoter reviews, but a lot of them are not and guys will be honest about a girl being older, or having a little extra in the mid-section, saggy titties, etc.

I just think you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you expect these girls to look like the website pics. Listen to the other mongers here that say that the website pics almost never look like the girls.

If physical appearance is all you're interested in, you need to just find an indy that posts real pics. They're a bit more expensive, but at least you won't waste money and time going to studios and being disappointed.

I have never understood why it's such a big deal for these girls to posts real pics on the website. Like you said, it doesn't even need to have their face because i completely understand why they wouldn't want to show their face. These girls could bring in sooooooo much more business with real pics though. That is the entire reason I started going to AMP's because guys used to post PG pics of girls in their reviews, and I saw a real picture of AMP Susan, and her body was amazing.

I look at the part where they say if the photos are accurate. Most of the time it will say photoshopped. More than half of the time, whatever is written is inaccurate and heavily ps typically means (to me) it’s not the girl in the photo or she’s 20+ years older.

Lately the KGE experience isn’t worth the headache of passing the screening and booking and dealing with all the upcharge, and then getting a provider that is unsatisfactory, instead of going to an AMP.
