Deposits....

Okay, wondering what experiences you guys are having and what you gals are thinking as well. I have texted 13 different providers yesterday and today, trying to set up something.
Literally, every single provider asked for a deposit upfront ... for a variety of reasons (sounds like excuses to me). It's to confirm, it's to know you're serious, it's to make sure I don't waste my time, it's so I can reserve your slot.
And the other common thread is that none of these providers takes cash (Of course, if you're paying a deposit, that has to be non-cash by definition). Am I the only one that thinks both of these things are absolute scams. If it were an outcall, I could understand the deposit. Otherwise, no way. And there is absolutely no reason to not take cash ... don't care what you say.

I have seen lots of guys complaining about being screwed over after paying a deposit, and I have never read a review or anything else where a guy who paid a deposit was not scammed or had a great time with a provider who required a deposit.

I would not call it 100% scam there are some legitimate providers who ask for the deposit due to ghosting or outcall etc.

But personally I just do not feel comfortable with deposit for following reasons

1. you could get screwed over.
2. You are leaving electronic trails of the session which you should avoid.

That being said I have never seen provider who refuses to take a cash , deposit is just for their protection that you showed up

On Tryst it seems that every ad that has multiple cities listed you will also see them requiring deposits. Scam? Seems like it.

No matter what anyone says or thinks, providers are all about the money, even tho some ladies may say it is about other things as well, the #1 thing is the money. You are delusional or lying if you think or say otherwise.

Therefore, your odds of the provider NCNSing you are greatly increased when they charge a deposit upfront and even if a provider has been honest in past interactions, you will always be subject to getting screwed over the next time as the opportunity is there to do so. DO NOT give them the chance. She asks for a deposit, I do not care if it is $20, move on to the next on your list.

Most providers still rip you off due to the minimal services they do for the inflated donations they ask for and if they have a chance to do no service while still getting that money, they will most definitely will do it.

Are these NCNS happening with NEWBIES?? I don’t see established gentleman doing this? I am just wondering for I have not had any issue with NCNS since beginning this wonderful hobby. I don’t require a deposit. I just require that they are screened by me with other reputable provider references with a good reputation. I am also wondering where you are coming across these ladies and if you are doing your research on them before reaching out to them. This may help you avoid some of these issues as well..idk

I wont pay a deposit, like most guys. I did it once as a newbie and got burned. Thankfully it wasnt too bad... and took it as the price of a lesson. Like Jessica says, I do my research now and rarely see someone who has little to no reviews now. I know even a well established lady could eventually go down a bad road and what not, but I stick to my guns and dont pay deposits anymore. Thankfully I have had nothing but good sessions since. Maybe a couple of mediocre ones. Research is key for sure.

Exactly what Brandofan said. I have regretfully said no to some ladies I would seriously love to see, but there are just things that don't make sense to me. I am a consultant and can demand a retainer when I am engaged. I prefer to be paid when I work, however, not for work to be done in the future. But if someone wants to give me a retainer to establish a legal contract, I'll take it.
As a side, no one has said anything about payment methods. I've never had anyone legitimately tell me why they won't take cash, but it's becoming quite the thing. Now, upfront is a clear scam. But "bring an Amazon gift card when we meet". I question that. How can that be a scam other than asking me to read the numbers and PIN before she will give me the room number. Got any other ideas?
