Trump mistaken about Russia - again ?

"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed President Donald Trump's assertion that Russia is committed to halting the conflict in Ukraine. Zelensky responded by saying: "With all due respect to President Trump, I believe this is merely his personal viewpoint. Trust me, we have a better grasp of the Russians and their mentality compared to the Americans. I am confident that Putin has no intention of ceasing hostilities."

Trump is, or was willing to give Putin a chance.

Were President Trump is wrong is in his belief that there was a chance that Putin wanted the senseless killing to cease.

That is a noble, but naive thought. Putin is a deplorable Despot that needs to be eliminated from the World Stage.

Some one in Russia will have to take on that task.
