Yeah I understand your point. But your point is also that of someone thats never served in uniform. There is something to be said for esprit d'corp. That sounds ridiculous to a civilian I am sure but men have done extraordinary things whose reward was a bit of ribbon. Serving on the pedo butt pirate ship must have been humiliating. Rewarding sexual deviancy is also something the state shouldn't be involved in.

THese actions are in service to return the service to fighting forces not social studies experiments. When things work you don't fcuk with them. Thats why we've been off the rails for decades with the Obama O rank purge. And its already working.... Army has met its recruiting goal 4 months early proving that Americans still have the desire to serve their nation as long as its not under some feminized Washington Generals nation building style leadership.

I've served in uniform. Quite a bit of serving actually. I think Hegsmegma isn't qualified to lead a company to the chow hall. So I'm wondering what your point is.


I'm curious how you could have served and think the group in charge of things now represents any level of integrity, bravery or pretty much anything I expected in my circle of people I served with.

Puh-leeze. He has no respect within the senior ranks due to lack of qualifications. The guy was a Major with a drinking problem who doesn't know the value of mission security. CVS wouldn't hire him to manage one of their stores. Meritocracy? What utter bullshit.

The military is made up of young people who are much more likely to be tolerant than those of a more advanced age. Educated people who the military likes to recruit are also more likely to show tolerance as well.

The claim that Trump and Hegseth anti dei policies are responsible for a surge of recruitment is not born out by the facts. I think recruitment is up in spite of not due to the leadership of Trump and Hegseth.

I think the white centric homophobic policies being implemented will do more harm than they supposedly will correct.

Hegseth says Trump boosted military recruiting. It's been improving for over a year

Taren Sylvester researches military recruitment at the Center for a New American Security in Washington. Sylvester says at the end of 2023, the numbers started improving, and the surplus from 2024 is making the numbers look really good now as that trend continues. A major reason is an Army program for future soldiers that helped Americans get physically fit or academically up to speed so they could qualify to join. As for the military being woke, Sylvester says the people who enlist are pretty much like other Americans.

First of all this is a straight up deflection from the point. There are many reasons to believe that Hegseth is not qualified to be Secretary of defense that are completely separate from how they feel about Trump.

Secondly the average age of a Vietnam veteran is now over 70 years old. The average age of enlisted military members is slightly over 27.

Maybe your perspective is different than the average military member whose values match a society that has changed significantly over the decades.

That said, as a veteran, I wouldn’t piss on Hegseth if he was caught in a tractor’s nuts. His very presence in the Pentagon is just offensive.
