Default Trumps budget bill.......passing ?

So the break up between Musk and Trump is because Trump's budget bill that he gave a name to ?

Musk came out with some statements very soon after he was released from government duties. Calling it disgusting. Saying Congress should be ashamed. Why all that ?

The public breakup Thursday happened the same day the German chancellor was visiting the White House.

Musk should fire back again, calling the budget bill the "big beautiful boner bill", to get Trump going some more on Truth Social.

The bill passed the House, and now is in the Senate. Will the Republicans in the Senate finally stand up to Trump ?

No - to answer the OP question.

This is getting unscrupulous, Vita.

I've been there. Hate just to hate? It's a long summer. Save some for the end.

The Bill will pass because the Senate will not give into the lies, gas lighting, and deceit that the Left is spreading.

As for Musk. He will wake up one morning and realize that being on good terms with The President of The United States is much more advantageous than being a useful idiot to the Democrats.

Even folks on the right that helped pass it like Margy green are asking the senate to change the bill. She admits she didn’t read it. No one has to lie about what’s in the bill. It adds Trillions to the debt. Just like the 2017 version did.

I'd venture that very few people in Congress read the bills they vote on. They have their aides go through them and give them the "highlights" and then act surprised that something was missed.

There's no reason for these bills to be thousands of pages long.

His economic policies are starting to show results. Here's a faux news report:

So then it would seem that Marg's staff is not competent. And leaders are responsible for failures of their troops. IJS....

I knew about the things in the bill that she doesn't like about a week before she learned of them. And I am not in Congress and I have no staff. Her miss on these things is inexcusable.

Marg ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

But no matter how many times you post it, Congress better get their shit together, regardless how long a bill is, and do its job.

Unfortunately, the trend for the GOP is to let Trump tell them how to do their job. What pussies.

My statement applies to both sides of the aisle.

If you believe this, well at least they're following the choice of the people who took the time to vote. Who are the Dems taking orders from?

Actually it’s up to the people to give the orders not take them.

And the GOP (or the remains thereof) would be wise to start giving their constituents a voice.

The bill is not a lock to pass. The Senate has 53 republicans, 45 democrats and two independents. It would take just 4 republicans to vote against the bill for it to fail.

Senator Collins of Maine and Senator Murkowski of Alaska voted against the "Skinny Repeal" of the ACA (Obamacare). Don't think those two will vote for something that hurts "Expanded Medicaid". If democrats can find two more republicans to vote no, the "Big Beautiful Bill" will fail.

Despite your lack of understanding the democrats legitimate concerns are not lies, gas lighting, and deceit.

There are a few republicans who may have the courage to buck the tide and listen to reasonable arguments. Trump will be gone in a few years. Hopefully some of the more sane Senators will be able to stick around even if they vote against this travesty of a bill.
